PADI stands for Professional Association of Diving Instructors. PADI is the world's leading scuba diving training organisation for recreational diving. PADI courses range from entry levels, such as "Open Water Diver" to "Master Scuba Diver" and a range of instructor certifications.

The PADI system is composed of modules divided into theory and practical skills. Theory is learnt through self-study using books and videos, with knowledge review sessions carried out by a scuba instructor. Mastery of practical skills is gained through confined water training (in a swimming pool or relatively shallow water) and performance evaluations in open water. Upon completion of each course, you will receive a certificate, which is recognised worldwide.
